ALASKA
| VANCOUVER Canada
A modern metropolis with sky-scrapers. Fortunately we had always a nice weather here. STANLEY PARK - a huge park where you can find small-train, passages and the Sea Marine Park. Here we saw different shows in a beautiful environment. |

CAPILANO BRIDGE - The world's longest suspended bridge can be found in Vancouver, we crossed it, although it was moving intensively and there was a deep chine below us. |
| KETCHIKAN Alaska |
Love at first sight. I can't describe how I felt there. Beautiful sunshine, snow-covered mountains in the background, friendly wooden houses everywhere and you feel good.
| SAXMAN'S VILLAGE - An Indian village, precisely the village of the Tlingit tribe, the ones I wrote my diploma about (Potlatch - The Joy of Giving, 1997). They collected and erected here the huge totem poles from different places. |
| JUNEAU Alaska |
Capital of Alaska. Behind the street everywhere snow-covered mountains arise. I found my favourite shop here, the totem pole shop. |
| SKAGWAY Alaska |
Small village with couple of streets, traditional houses and taxis! |
| WHITE PASS & YUKON ROUTE - we climbed the snowy mountain with a long train where the gold-finders break their way through the high mountains (of course they had no trains between the valleys). |
| We did some hiking as well in the mountains to a picturesque hill-lake. We walked around the lake through creeks and rocks. |
| SEWARD Alaska |
The most northern part of my journey where the sun is still up at 23:00. Its interesting place is the Alaskan Sealife Centre where you could visit beautiful and rare animals. |
| HUNGARY | Finally I got back home after 8 months (242 days) with aboriginal hair and Mexican sombrero!!! |
